HOMEWORK FOR THURS 10/15: Study for your assessment!!! This is a big deal. You need to do well on this, and you can, but you must prepare. Use your Major Themes sheet, the Unit 2 Review, and the Sample Component 1 (page 4) that we went over in class on Tuesday. Practice writing as many of these as you can. Here is the rubric that I will use to grade you: AICE Rubrics. See the videos, articles, and other resources on the Unit 2 tab above.
Assessment Format Change: In the interest of having adequate time, we will do only Component 2 in class on Thursday. See the Unit 2 Review for sample questions & instructions and the rubric above for how it will be graded. We’ll do Component 1 (the document questions) in class on Monday 10/19.
Please bring a blue or black ink pen and several sheets of paper. Be prepared to get started at the very beginning of class. Check with your classmates or email Trotter with any questions you might have.
